Maintaining Integrity of a Mission Critical System

October 2010. The Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) in layman's language is the system that controls all systems that makes the ship move, function and make it habitable. The only system it does not manage and monitor is the weapon system. It is therefore a  MISSION CRITICAL SYSTEM. Protank Coms is committed to support the Royal Malaysian Navy to get the best value from this mission critical,  leading edge, and current system. ProtankComs has taken the initiatives to train Malaysian Engineers in L3 MAPPS Montreal able to provide training and technical support and make them available locally.

In its effort to improve the support, a representative has been deployed permanently in Sepanggar Bay Kota Kinabalu. The objective is to engage the users, the ships crew and officers directly. The support of the two ships in Kuantan is provided by Pcoms engineers in Petaling Jaya and Lumut.
