The thrust of Protankgrup's activities in the Naval and Marine Industries is in naval command, control, communication and simulations. It is led by Protank Coms. Protank Coms Sdn Bhd (Pcoms) was incorporated in April 1999. We are located at ProtankGrüp HQ in Petaling Jaya, with a site office in Royal Malaysian Naval Base in Lumut, and a registered office in Kota Kinabalu.

Pcoms is the in-country partner to L3-MAPPS, the world leader in Nuclear Power Plantand Naval Control System and Simulations. Our systems are installed on board the Royal Malaysian Navy Frigates and Patrol Vessels. Pcoms' engineers  have been trained  in Montreal, Canada for L-3 MAPP capable of providing support  to the most advanced ship control system in the world, the IPMS on board the RMN Vessels.

Protank designs and constructs damage control and fire fighting simulators and trainers. Our Battle Damage Simulator and Trainer have been in service in the Royal Malaysian Navy and has proven to be a highly reliable unit.

In the field of Measuremernt and Control we partner PSM instrumentation, Thermo Fisher, Quesdt Tech and SBEM for a wide range of measurement and control instrumentation from Nuclear to hydrostatic sensors. These are instruments and systems appicable to Naval as well as the Oil and Gas and the steel industries.
