AIR TO AIR REFUELING

The Malaysian Royal Air Force (RMAF), during LIMA (Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition) 2007 has appointed Cobham PLC through its South East Asia representative, Protank Technologies Sdn Bhd, to supply gas refueling tank/pod during flight (IFR) for the newly acquired Sukhoi Su-30MKM.

The supply and integration of buddy refueling will be done by Cobham where the pod will be installed onto the Sukhoi Su 30MKM. This will enable the plane to perform air to air refueling during combat missions.

The acquisition is to cater the basic need of the Sukhou Su 30MKM.
